You’d like to support the school and would prefer to do so with your muscles rather than your wallet? “Weekend Warriors” is the name of our parent-facilitated building support team. Comprised of parents, alumni and other Steppingstone-friendly adults, they come to the school once a month to address special projects, problems and other facility updates. Previous projects have included the repair of the lube shop doors, painting the exterior of the building, cleaning the Activities Building for the Halloween concert as well as tidying the flower beds and planting trees. Led by alum parent, Bill Wisniewski and current parent, Zoran Jevtic, they receive the weekend’s projects from Kiyo Morse, rally the troops and get ‘er done, all between the hours of 12 and 4. New faces are always welcome and encouraged to join in—even extended family like aunts, grandpas and close friends!
Weekend Warrior events are published on our school’s calendar as well as in the weekly newsletter.
